Trevor Corson Blue Ocean Institute
In his books, articles, speeches, media appearances, and culinary education work as a teacher and Sushi Concierge, Trevor uses a variety of approaches, including humor, to draw attention to the ways that seafood can be harvested and enjoyed sustainably. Trevor is a co-author of the Blue Ocean Institute’s Guide to Ocean-Friendly Sushi, and uses his frequent appearances as both
a Sushi Concierge and “The Lobster Sex Guy” to help his audiences consider positive ways to reduce harmful impacts on ocean life. Trevor has been nominated for a 2010 “Seafood Champion” award from the Seafood Choices Alliance, and his efforts to educate diners about the plight of endangered bluefin tuna have been featured in the New York Times Magazine and on Japanese national television.
